I feel as though not enough people have this mixtape or know about this band and some of the heavy hitters that are behind it. This is really the illest shit, thats out right now. They are in LA working on music for a new LP at the moment. They played a show in Sanata Monica earlier this month and I missed it. Definitely gotta catch them on the next go round. My good friend Andrew Huang, A.K.A Heavy Accents, sent over his WHOO! YEAH! mix and I’ve had it on repeat for the last couple of days. this mix has a pretty cool vibe, switching from disco tho indie to straight house. This is definitely recommended listening.
Aside from DJing, Andrew spends his days at the Dim Mak offices running the Dim Mak Collection. I’ve played a few parties with Andrew and I think he has really come into his own in the last year. He’s released a few other mixes on his blog and if you dont know who this cool cat is you can check him out and pick up his other mixes RIGHT HERE.
